A Festival to Celebrate Nature, Women and their Empowering Connection!
7 - 17 October 2021, The Art Pavilion, London
The ECOFeminism Festival encompasses the Exhibition 'Utopia' and events programme, the ECOFeminism Conference and the ECOFeminism Short Film Festival. It is inspired by the ECOFeminism movement that started in the 70’s, exploring the relationship
between nature and women. This has continuing relevance
in a time of ecological crisis.
The Exhibition Utopia will showcase the theme through the work of 70 UK and International exhibiting artists working across multiple disciplines. The Exhibition is accompanied by an extensive Programme of Events including workshops and performances.
The Festival also presents a Conference discussing the evolution, misconceptions and intersectionality of ECOFeminism throughout history until today, and a Short Film Festival exploring the theme in the categories of Experimental, Animation, Fiction &
Documentary by 16 UK and International Filmmakers.
