Victoria Strelciunaite is a self-taught artist from Lithuania, currently based in Surrey. Her work is inspired by her personal experiences and observations of the world around her. The subjects she depicts reflect her interests, passions, and deep appreciation of nature. Through her paintings, she seeks to explore the complex interplay between emotion, perception, and memory.

Painting gives me great pleasure; I especially enjoy creating bold and expressive works that reflect my innermost thoughts and emotions. I try to distill fragments that I like and put them onto the canvas.

In her paintings, Victoria presents her subjects in an abstract and colourful way, and hopes that the detail and striking combination of colours will draw the viewer in for a closer look. She seeks to challenge and inspire the viewers, inviting them to see the world in a new and exciting way.

At the heart of my work is a deep fascination with the human experience. I am interested in exploring the ways in which we interact with one another, the world around us, and ourselves. I believe that art has the power to connect us, to help us see things from new perspectives, and to spark conversations about the things that matter most.

Victoria's goal as an artist is to create work that is both beautiful and thought-provoking. She wants her paintings to be a source of joy and inspiration for those who view them, but also to challenge them to think more deeply about their own lives and the world in which we live. Whether it is through bold colours, abstract forms, or subtle nuances, Victoria hopes to create a space for contemplation, reflection, and connection in all of her work.

Tamara Chianta - Painting - UK

Top Left to Right: Lucent 2, Acrylic on Paper; Apogee, Acrylic on Canvas

Every Hue Unfolds, Acrylic on Canvas; Spill, Acrylic on Paper

Tamara Chianta is a visual artist based in London. She creates striking and vibrant abstract paintings depicting a mass of intertwining colours and patterns as she explores the balance between permanence and impermanence of form and shape.

Tamara applies primary paint colours to canvas or paper, mixing them with a palette knife to produce a range of colours in undulating contours reminiscent of ripples on water.

There is a strong sense of movement in my work as I draw inspiration from shifting cloud formations and reflections in water. It is the transience of nature that moves me, the way it is constantly changing and evolving.

Tamara enhances the patterns emerging from the textured surface, often adding flowing brushstrokes to create a sense of harmony, of order emerging out of chaos. Her colourful forms float in a void and suggest a moment frozen in time, a joyous celebration of the present moment.

I like to imagine the birth of the first stars: clouds of dust and gas coming together and collapsing on themselves to form the first lights in the darkness.

Tamara Chianta grew up in South Africa and Mauritius and emigrated to the United Kingdom as a teenager. She obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art and Art History from Goldsmiths, University of London. Her work has been exhibited in London galleries such as Espacio Gallery in Bethnal Green, Candid Arts in Angel, and 508 Gallery in Chelsea.

For Tamara, “The only constant in life is change”.

Andrea Shearing was born in Manchester, UK before moving to Switzerland where she lived between the age of seven to sixteen. On returning to UK she completed her Training in Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art. She now lives in East Sussex, in a small feudal village, nestled in the South Downs by the coast. Since her training at Edinburgh College of Art, she has been inspired by nature.

Andrea paints both two dimensional and three dimensional paintings made of cut-out MDF and painted in acrylic paint. She is passionate about working from nature and chooses specific locations and either collects references on site or uses photographic references. She also has a passion for drawing and uses the complete range of graphite pencils and graphite powder.

My mission explores the emotional symbolism of my subject matter. I want my work to help people find an inner sense of peace and connection with nature's energy. My deep ambition and hope is that my work can ease the wounds of living, through inducing calm and peaceful reflection.

Andrea is a slow meditative painter. She wants her work to help people find an inner sense of peace and connection with nature's energy. Finding the meaning and the link between the inner and the outer world is key to everything which inspires Andrea. Without this there is nothing to communicate that will touch other people's spirit. She has found that interpreting nature is the best vehicle for her to achieve this.

Over the past few years, Andrea has developed a series of Free Standing 3D paintings to challenge the tradition that paintings have to be 2 dimensional rectangular images hanging on walls. She cuts 3D structures which sit on especially designed plinths so they are seen at specific heights and in perspective. She is currently developing hanging paintings and 3D floor paintings as well as irregular shaped paintings for walls and shelves thus considering all the opportunities to place paintings in different parts of an environment.

Andrea is a multi-award winner and has been featured in many publications. She exhibits regularly in UK, Europe and USA. She won a solo exhibition in London on the theme of H2O and have four future exhibitions planned on the South Downs and our local coast in East Sussex.
